There will be days when things don’t go as planned. It’s normal. One step forward. Two steps back.
Don’t let it get you down. It’s all part of the journey. We must learn to appreciate are failures. We must learn to accept “no”. We must learn to keep going when we feel hurt.
It seems strange, but no just means that the particular situation was not right for the particular moment. It’s not forever.
You might learn something from that no.
Try to be understanding when a client or manager declines your service or is not satisfied with your presentation. They may need something else. It may be an opportunity to improve. Perhaps they just can’t use what you are offering at the moment.
Listen to their comments. Be humble and appreciative and ask for feedback.
Perhaps things will change a bit down the road.
Pick yourself up. Dust yourself off. Move on to the next thing. But be sure to check back in a few months later.
If you give up, you will lose that opportunity if it changes down the road. So remember, keep going.
